I’m Pam Creech your Crafty Creecher. As far back as I can recall, I’ve been active in the fine arts. I excelled in music and theatre and was the editor of my school yearbooks. I pursued music and theatre in university which gave my creative side an outlet for expression. As a parent of 2 children, I relied more on scrapbooking to demonstrate my creativity. When I was widowed at age 40 and left to raise my young children on my own, my time to craft was significantly restricted. Then I was hit with a couple of chronic medical conditions that forced me onto a permanent disability leave from my music teaching career. About 6 years ago I bought a Cricut machine with the intent of using it to embellish my scrapbook pages. However, I quickly discovered I could cut vinyl and create unique t-shirts. Being bedridden many days each week, I found making shirts for dance/theatre performances, and as gifts for family and friends a way to use my imagination. At Christmas, I was asked to make a couple dozen personalized shirts for contractors at a local store. This filled my emotional bucket immensely and inspired me to branch out and expand my hobby into a business.
I purchased a large shirt press, a mug press, and a sublimation printer. This allowed me to expand my options far beyond the scope of a Cricut and use more advanced techniques. Crafty Creecher is a way to work from home and moderate my energy output while using my creativity and crafting skills to make custom-designed items with photographs, logos, images, colors, names, etc. You will be supporting my goal to support myself into my senior years and keep my love for fine arts alive while providing you with a product you won’t find anywhere else.
